Sr. Agile Coach Consultant

We have openings for experienced consultants and trainers that have a passion for Lean, Agile and Scrum and helping their clients be successful in these opportunities.
Innovel is looking for Senior Agile Coach Consultants. If you are interested in becoming a Certified Scrum Trainer, working with Innovel will help you gain the experience you need to qualify. You should have 3+ years experience working with Agile teams and 8+ years IT experience.
Sr. Agile Coach Consultant capabilities and experiences:
Agile Coach Consultant can demonstrate experience educating team members as well as management in the application of Scrum and Agile practices. This training will include the basics of Scrum as well as ongoing training for more advanced skills such as user stories, the attributes of an agile manager, how to be a good Product Owner, and team formation.
Agile Coach Consultant works with Agile teams to ensure they are successful within the Agile process. This will include maintaining the Sprint Backlog, facilitating stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and planning sessions among other things. Coaches will also ensure that product owners, team members, customers, and stakeholders understand their roles in an Agile environment, and provides coaching to help them improve in these new roles. Coaches will facilitate the resolution of team impediments and will work with client stakeholders to ensure a well functioning Agile process.
Agile Coach Consultant understands XP and agile engineering practices. Prior software development experience is preferred but not required. If you have a software background and can demonstrate TDD and CI experience that is highly desirable.
Agile Coach Consultants will have regular contact with management. This provides an opportunity for management to obtain feedback on how the teams are doing and what issues exist. The Coach will also assist management in understanding the role they play in creating high-performing teams.
Agile Coach Consultants will have regular contact with new and potential customers, and will play a key role in helping the company acquire new business through client consultation and working with the Partners to prepare proposals for Agile initiatives.
Travel is 25 to 75%
